I Had A Bad Week...

Sunday... 30th anniversary reunion of a college organization
Monday... Family Bar Mitzvah
Tuesday & Wednesday... Somewhat good
Thursday & Friday... Yom Tov with food, challah, honey and lots of other bad stuff
Shabbos... more of the same

Net result: a pound and a half regained.

CLARIFICATION: Eeees's challah is good. I did not mean to imply that her challah is bad, but rather that I had a lot of that and other bad (read: fattening) things.

Now, hopefully, Eeees will let me live long enough to lose the rest of the weight. :)

Try to have your family eat healthy with you - If the fatty stuff isn't around then you can't eat it... Try Strauss's whole grain challah, use calorie free dressings, eat Mehadrin's fit and free yogurt, gefilte fish is fine, eat your chicken baked - this rosh hashana, we used kosher by design short on time they had yummy healthy recipes, for example the tomato basil chicken and we used the calorie free italian dressing it was delicious - If you need something sweet try Aunt Gussie's cinammon raisin flats - Good Luck! Sukkos will be a challenge so get yourself a skinny sponsor - My sponsor is my size 2 sister - She lost 30 lbs! Good luck to you!

We don't buy store bought challah (I bake every week). We only use calorie free dressing, if any at all. (My favorite dressing is plain lemon juice, salt, and pepper), and I only bake chicken. Sometimes the issue isn't eating healthy. Sometimes the issue is portion control. A person that only eats healthy, but eats it in excess, is not going to lose weight either.
